Raised by a single mother in a mud house, her mother worked as a domestic worker.

The renowned artist, who has won multiple awards, is married to Mr. Lucky Sekgobela, serving as both her spouse and manager. Their relationship began when Lebo was still in high school, and they tied the knot when she was just sixteen years old. With over twenty-four years of marriage, they are proud parents to three children named Lethabo, Lesego, and Lesedi. Lebo's journey as a gospel singer commenced in the church under Evangelist Ralekholela's guidance, participating in the Crusades. Despite facing numerous rejections at auditions, she persevered. Eventually, she became a backup singer for Vicky Vilakazi and also worked with William Sejake. Both William and Vicky were members of Joyous Celebration. From that point on, her music career soared without looking back.
